Welcome to the Polish Telemedicine and e-Health Publishing!
Polish Telemedicine and e-Health Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Telemedycyny i eZdrowia) has been established in 1997 and formally registered in 1998. Around ten years later Board of Directors decided to start up a journal project named The Advances in mHealth, eHealth, Telemedicine and Medical Informatics.
Initial inspiration came in 2008 during the conference by the same name held in Warsaw (Poland). Throughout the years Society’s organization changed and new initiatives showed up. The idea evolved and it took several years to develop our own custom online publishing platform. In 2013 the idea became a reality and we were finally able to share the observations, experiences, and ideas of the implemented numerous solutions in these fields not only in Poland but Worldwide.
Around 2017 we have decided to switch online platform backend focusing on Open-Source solutions and long term maintenance.
The Advances in mHealth, eHealth, Telemedicine and Medical Informatics is a peer reviewed journal focusing on theories, methods, and applications in mHealth, eHealth, telemedicine, medical informatics and imaging informatics in medicine. The Journal is focused research articles, short communications, technical communications, review articles, book reviews and other papers focused on the field.
